Canford Magna and Merley WI

Canford Magna and Merley WI meet on the second Wednesday of each month at Merley Community Centre starting at 7.30 pm

Meetings feature a warm welcome and a varied programme of events and activities, interesting speakers, occasional craft evening etc. Social events involving meeting up with other local WI groups are a feature as well as regular lunch events, outings and visits. There are regular opportunities to explore new skills and hobbies through the county organisation.

Membership of the WI also gives access to the WI Learning Hub which has a wide range of on line, flexible courses in English and History as well as classes in crafts and Yoga, all at no extra cost.

Nationally, WI is an organisation which campaigns to right injustices and to bring to public notice those who need to be supported.
